Relax the body and calm the mind with breath and gentle movement. This form is commonly known as "Tai Chi for Back Pain and Arthritis"; however, it is a wonderful practice for all ages with endless health benefits. Gentle warmups help loosen our joints, increase circulation, and bring awareness into our body and breath. We will focus on sections of the form each week to explore Tai Chi concepts and learn the nuances of the movements. The class will end with a follow-along practice of the beginning form.
