About the event
As our souls continue to harmonize with mother nature’s seasons, it feels as though we are diligently peeling the layers away. There are days that may seem like setbacks, and then days of spontaneous growth.
May’s full moon is known as the Flower Moon; flowers bring a sense of love, beauty, and emanate impermanence to the beauty they offer. As the cycle goes from soil, seed to flower, and back to soil, so does our spiritual cycle of growth. Remembering to own and honor all versions of ourselves (yes even the not so pretty versions) is incredibly empowering to our psyche and to all our bodies (spiritual, emotional, physical , mental).
As we approach our ethereal blossoming flower with childlike curiosity, we will bring in mental and physical strength, self-compassion, and acceptance. By gathering our tools and working our soul soil we can navigate our inner body with more clarity and ease. With practice, we can have more patience and forgiveness, holding our inner child. Bringing in self-love, self-acceptance, and grounding through our breath, to recharge and reset our nervous system. May we gather together to create a meadow of wildflowers. Flowing freely, opening to, and sharing the fragrance of our authentic selves.
This integrative class will start with microdosing education, followed by an offering of 130mg of microdose tea. After receiving the medicine, we will be flowing through some gentle yoga poses to get into our bodies. We will then be guided through a meditation, and some breathwork, inviting in the ebbs and flows of our own inner growth and transformation. The psilocybin microdose will allow us to drop into our meditation practice with ease, bringing deep peace, clarity and healing. This medicine is a beautiful tool allowing us to drop deeply into our bodies to honor our inner wisdom and light. This is a heart medicine, which can help us to feel safe enough to release any protective barriers, to be able to more clearly see patterns that are no longer serving us. This medicine provides the clarity to recognize where we are resisting, and can give us the opportunity to surrender and to let go.
As we lay in this conscious state of visualization we will ascend to the power of sound. You will be bathed in crystal singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks and gongs. The yoga, meditation, breathwork, and sound healing are all integration tools to help us better understand what the medicine is showing us, and to apply those realizations into our lives in order to create positive change and acceptance of where we are.
It is a blessing to have the opportunity to share these healing tools with the community, and we look forward to sharing this sacred space with you. By gathering as a community to heal, we are creating a powerful space, allowing our higher vibrations to spread out to the world. We truly are the medicine – may we remember our power.
This offering is co-facilitated by Sarah Howe (@satyaplantspirit), and Danielle Daniel M.A., the founder of Microdosing Humboldt (@microdosinghumboldt, www.microdosinghumboldt.com).
*In order to stay within the guidelines of the resolution that decriminalized entheogens in Arcata, the microdose tea will be gifted, while the ticket price covers the cost of the yoga, guided meditation and sound healing practice. To honor the resolution, microdoses cannot be gifted to anyone under 21 years of age.
*If you have a personal history of schizophrenia microdosing is not advised because it can cause more harm than good.
*If you are currently taking lithium or tramadol it is not advisable to microdose. Mixing these can cause seizures.
*If you are currently on an SSRI, SNRI, or MAOI please be aware of the potential of serotonin syndrome. While microdosing with psilocybin mushrooms this is extremely rare, but still important to be educated about.
