Sound Healing Journey w/ Numinous

NUMINOUS- A Sound Healing Collective which consists of Humboldt's Sound Healing Practitioner Chazelle Owens, and two multi-instrumentalists Graham Pisarek and Daniel Aboulache.

Together they concoct a one-of-a-kind “Healing Sonic Tonic” that affects every aspect of your entire being. By bridging the heavenly cosmic frequencies with the grounding rhythmic depths of our planet, Numinous invites you into a deeper state of consciousness… The experience activates you to live out your full potential, while also bringing an opportunity for you to unplug from external stimuli and to gain perspective on what’s going on within you. During the Journey, your brainwave states slow down to Theta and Delta where the body’s natural healing abilities can begin to repair and restore. The goal of the Sound Journey is to invite deep rest and explore self-inquiry and self-discovery.

The instruments used in the Sound Journeys are: 432Hz quartz crystal singing bowls (7 bowls tuned for each chakra), tuning forks, symbols, Tibetan bowls, Native flute, handpan drum, djembe, tongue drum, didgeridoo, guitar, keys, chimes, and vocals(light language).

What to expect and bring to a Numinous Sound Journey:

PLEASE DRESS COMFORTABLY. Bring a yoga mat (we have some if you do not own one) , a small blanket, eye pillow or anything else that will help you to feel more comfortable. You will be laying down for about 90 mins. It will begin with some breath work and visualization and then the sounds will begin. After the sound journey you will be in silence for a few minutes to allow all the vibrations and experience to integrate into you. This sound journey is like getting a massage, but on a cellular level. It will be very important to drink plenty of water after this. You can feel the effects for several days and even experience some deep healing you weren’t expecting later. We recommend attending the Sound Journeys monthly.
